Are we there yet?

Hey You!

If you are looking for updates on Jasmine’s sorry life in Neihart, the Bustling Burg of Babbling Brooks, you’ve found the right place.

I love comments.

I’m building a house. Send money.

    Hey, Jasmine,

Where IS your land? How much land? You planning on selling your house in town?

I just “rock-scaped” my backyard; now, not a blade of grass to be seen. Ah, the lush tropical beauty of the southern desert.

Gonna have a guest room in your new digs?

    Hi Jasmine,
I’m glad you are learning so much about general contracting. When I talk Dad into doing some renovations in Hadley, can I hire you? No wells to be dug, though.
We are excited that you have this blog to keep us up-to-date. I am assuming there will be pictures.
Gosh, we have even bookmarked you!

Dad and I were wondering how you know where the septic will go. Is that the first thing you have to decide in order to know if the house can even be built on that piece of property?

Have you thought of writing a book or two. One about your travels and one about this new house building venture! Both I think would be great and funny reading. Think on that!!!!!!!!!!!! Mary

    congratulations on your project!

  11. I called my friends at Simon and Schuster and gave them your phone number. They told me that they would call you, so if you do not hear from them, I will ski them over a cliff, when I ski with them in February.

Reading your blog, I get the impression that you are a nice enough person. I would have to disagree with the slanderous way you blog of Jack. If there is animosity there I can see why. I guarantee I’ll find nothing that vile on the internet posted about you by Jack! You have alot of information on buddhism on your blog, but, in my opinion, you couldn’t have strayed further with that kind of talk.
You ought to think before you post!

  16. me ⋅

Oh, I do think before I post. Believe me. Slander involves stating lies with malicious intent and I’ve not done that. I’ve not written anything that I do not believe to be truth, and I have no malice, but I do have the right to defend myself, do I not? You say that you’ve not found any information posted by Mr. Fairservise about me that is negative. Is there any information at all posted by him on the internet? I understand that he doesn’t have an internet connection. If it wasn’t for you, he’d proably not know what I’d posted, and be much happier today. My blog is for my family and friends.
I’ve been attacked again and again by your hero. It takes all my Buddhist credentials to restrain me from reacting like a normal person would to that sort of constant, hateful attention. Do you not understand that having complete compassion for all beings means holding them accountable for their actions? I thank you for bringing up a point which you thought was pertinent. It means that you are thinking. But know that I will not be cowed by Jack, who is a bully. And I will not be cowed by you, Mr. Anonymous. If you want a real discussion about the relative nefariousness of Jack, step up, baby. There’s a LOT of people waiting to hear what you have to say. And say it publicly, with accountability.

WELL I’VE GOTTEN THIS FAR BUT THE REST OF IT I HAVEN’T FIGURED OUT…HOPEFULLY BEFORE SUMMER AS THIS IS SPRING.

Bumped into your blog and enjoyed your writing — that is, I like your style, particularly your sense of humor. From what I read, it seems like our stories have some commonalities, some fortunate (like living mindful simplicity in a rural place), some perhaps less fortunate (like having an unimpeachable fanclub president … they’re like flypaper,eh?) Anyway, thanks for the pleasant read. Keep blogging!
